The monthly catalog combines dated Wikidata/Wikipedia records with independently source-checked corrections and additions. Imported records are not automatically verified; each panel distinguishes its review status. Photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under the licence shown in each panel.

This local pilot covers January–December 2011. Each view includes events that began in that month, not every event still in progress. It does not show live activity, calculated skies, or events on other planets. Missing dates, unresolved Earth locations, and uncertain source precision are excluded.
Every country has a monthly coverage floor: 12 events for high-income economies, 3 for others. These are minimums, not caps. A country with fewer records is a coverage gap, not a completed month. Current World Bank income groups set the coverage policy; they do not describe historical income status in 2011.
Country groups use source-backed event associations or present-day Natural Earth polygons, not historical nationality. All eligible records remain browsable; only the number of simultaneous globe cards is limited for readability. Sound plays only from a selected recording with an audio track, at normal forward speed.
